The Word says it's better to give than to receive, but there are many times when we are gifted things (not just material either) from others. Will we reflect the Lord in receiving?
Gratitude and thankfulness are lacking in today's society which I believe stems form selfishness and unrealistic expectations. Recognize that every good and perfect gift comes from above and when someone has done something for you - glorify God who has allowed such beauty to flow in your life! Thank You, Lord!
